"A house without a cat, and a well-fed, well-petted and properly revered cat, may be a perfect house, perhaps, but how can it prove its title?” -Mark Twain
Purchasing an Aaliyah Bengal
Aaliyah kittens will always be raised in our home.  They receive gentle handling from the day they are born and will be well socialized to fit into your family.  Kittens will receive all necessary vaccinations appropriate to their age before leaving our cattery.  They will be free of all external and internal parasites.  They will be tested negative for both Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus.  Their good health will be documented by a valid State of Florida Health Certificate.
Our kittens will be kept with their mother and littermates up to the age of 12 weeks.  In some cases, they may be older – such as if they are kittens we are growing up to determine if they may be show or breeder quality. We keep kittens for a minimum of 12 weeks because it is important for kittens to develop a strong immune system and it is equally important for them to receive “instructions” from their mother and to learn how to  properly interact with other cats.  This will help to prevent any behavioral problems often  associated with kittens that are separated from their cat family too soon. Kittens going to companion homes will either be spayed or neutered before leaving us.  I work as a Manager in a Veterinary Hospital and my boss is an excellent surgeon.  Younger kittens recover quickly from their surgery and are much less stressed recuperating in a familiar environment.  This also saves the buyer the additional expense of spaying or neutering and keeps any “accidents” from happening.  In fact, our kittens will receive approximately $400 worth of veterinary care before they arrive in their new homes.

Our kittens will only be available to homes where they are exclusively kept as indoor pets.  The world is too dangerous for cats running at large!  Bengals are perfectly happy living inside if they are provided with appropriate cat trees, scratching posts, toys and human companionship.
Show or Breeder quality female kittens may be available occasionally to other members of TIBCS and/or TIBBA.  Top quality male kittens not retained for our own breeding program will be sold as Show Alters or exquisite family companions.
As we have many years of experience in shipping our Leonberger puppies, we are comfortable with shipping our kittens if necessary.  We will, however, only ship with an airline that offers counter to counter service.  This costs more than shipping straight cargo – but is well worth it.  Buyers may expect to pay around $200 for shipping, including crate.
Our companion kittens are priced from $600 up to $1,200.  An example of a $1,200 companion kitten would be a cutting edge male that we cannot use in our own breeding program.  Our Breeder Quality female kittens start at $1,500 and Show Quality female kittens start at $2,000.

We will occasionally have retired Show/Breeder cats available to forever homes.  These wonderful cats will be spayed or neutered before leaving our cattery, will be in excellent health and will cost much less than a kitten.  The determining factor in placing these beloved companions will be the amount of love and attention they will receive for the rest of their lives!
If you would like more information on currently available kittens or retired cats, please contact us!  We love to talk about our beautiful Bengals!
